His practice includes business immigration law, family-based green card sponsorship processes, EB-5 investor visa filings, and corporate immigration policy development. Doug is also experienced in assisting in-house counsel and human resources professionals with US and global immigration law and policy. He is frequently asked to resolve complex US visa and consular issues. Doug regularly speaks about immigration issues at legal organizations, universities, and industry forums. He is a member of board of trustees of the American Immigration Council.

Susan J. Cohen
Susan is founder and chair of the Immigration Practice and is based in the firm’s Boston office. She frequently speaks and writes about immigration topics for legal and immigration-related organizations. Susan contributed to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations implementing the Immigration Act of 1990, the Department of Labor regulations implementing changes to H-1B visas, and the PERM labor certification regulations. She is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, International Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers, Chambers Global Guide, and Massachusetts Super Lawyers.

Haesung Han
Haesung is an Associate in the firm and is based in the Boston office. She counsels businesses of all sizes, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, and their employees on non-immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, and O-1. She also provides counseling on immigrant visa petitions, including PERM, Outstanding Researcher, Multinational Manager, I-140, and I-485.

Maryanne Kline
Maryanne is an Associate in the firm and is based in the Boston office. Her practice is focused on US federal immigration law dealing primarily with business-based immigration issues. She specializes in immigration-compliance issues, business reorganizations and its consequences, and immigration-related due diligence. She is experienced in development of and strategy for the US employment of foreign nationals. Maryanne previously served as co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Immigration Law Committee. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Miles Roeder
Miles is an Associate in the firm and is based in the Boston office. An immigration attorney for more than 15 years, Miles has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate immigration law and counsels employment-based clients of all sizes, ranging from publicly owned multinational corporations to newly formed enterprises in early venture-funding stages. He focuses his practice on assisting employers with their complex and routine US immigration matters, including PERM applications, nonimmigrant visas, and policy development.
